Free Software and Open Source Symposium 2011 The Seneca Centre for Development of Open Technology (CDOT) The annual Free Software and Open Source Symposium provides a venue to share the latest trends in open source. It is an event aimed at bringing together industry, developers, educators and the community and any other interested parties to discuss open source, open web, and academic/industry partnerships. This year's three day event will offer presentations, workshops and a half day un-conference allowing you an opportunity to collaborate with your peers and learn from your mentors. Join the wave of the future and see how open source software is used in classrooms, labs and industry! Presentation proposals are now being accepted. This year, an exhibition hall is being set up for sponsors and community groups. If you have computer equipment you no longer have use for, it can be dropped of in the exhibition area. Presentation submissions are now closed. Schedule of workshops and presentations is now posted.
