At Seneca College, we think free and open source software are real alternatives. The Centre for the Development of Open Technology at Seneca College is proud to present the 10th Annual Free Software and Open Source Symposium (FSOSS). This two-day event is aimed at bringing together developers, educators, industry and other interested parties to discuss open source, open web and academic partnership.
Who will attend?
This symposium is expected to be attended by 350 - 400 people, including IT professionals, high profile Open Source developers, thought leaders, movers and shakers, educators and students. These delegates play a key role in influencing the Open Source community and the IT field.
Notable organizations who have participated in our past FSOSS events include Mozilla, Novell, Apple, Red Hat Inc., Microsoft Canada, IBM Canada, Sun Canada, ATI, EDS Canada, Electronic Frontier Foundation, OpenOffice.org, Bank of Montreal, CIBC, RBC Financial Group and the National Research Council.
This highly successful event depends on the generous support of our sponsors to help us keep registrations costs low and accessible to a wider audience in the spirit of Open Source.
